The Dilemma written by Ji Hee Chang

It is difficult to decide something in a dilemma but we must make the best dicision. I was in a dilemma 2 months ago. I had to choose one thing and I did.

I was offered a job interview from a company when I came back to New York. The company makes artficial nails, cosmetics and implement for beauty. It was where my friend worked as a product marketer. She recommended me to her boss. After the intervies they decided to hire me. Not only did they promised to support a H1 Visa, but they also permitted my going to an ESL school. Moreover, they really wanted to work with me for a long time. So I decided to work at the company because it was a really good opportunity to work in The United States and I could make a good career.

It was very hard for me working there because I had to work and study. I couldn't do either very well. In addition I was getteing to miss my family and freinds. One day I thought deeply about what I really want to do. I deicided to quit my job. After that I thought a lot because I came to NY to study English. I just forgot my original purpose for a while. A few days later, I told my boss about that. He was disappointed but I thoght my decisio was the best,

I just study English now and I have stated to study in FIT for Image Consulting. Somethimes I have regretted my decision but I am satisfied with my life.

MY AMAZING ADVENTURE -Lee jueun

When I decided to leave for New York, my parents really didn’t want me to leave. They believed that I was happy.
I had graduated from University, gotten a job and enjoyed my life normally. But I couldn’t stop. I wanted to get more experience about my major and to make myself special. Everyone said to me, ”Don’t give up your steady life.”, but nothing changed my mind.

I was a designer in Korea. I worked at design agency, but now I work in a nail shop. There is no satisfaction in the nail shop and it couldn’t give me any career. But I needed some money for an independent life until I found something to make me interested. Therefore, I could stand any hard job.

Finally, I found my dream vocation two months ago and I am collecting for some information about that in New York now.
My adventure is just starting now for my dream life.

A Person Who changed My life

I have met many people in my life, but a person who changed my life was my art teacher in the university. He and I differed in the terms of appearamce. Not only did he have a bald head, but he also was tall. Moreover, he was fat. Indeed, he was a strong old man.
8 years ago, I went to the art university because I studied sculpture. On my first day in the university, when I arrived at my class, he was standing in front of a blackboard. I was afraid of him because he seemed like a gangster. After my class started, he talked to us about his history. his history was very successful and funny. I was fascinated by his personality.
He was a very strict teacher. One day, when I didn't finish a work of art on time, he said that he hadn't waited for me and I wouldn't exhibit it. I was very sad at that time, but he taught me about artist's way.
In conclusion, after I met him, I kew that the artist's way was strict and interesting. However, I wanted to be an artist. Now I can lead a full life.

My Vacation

I want to hawaii two years ago with my friends .We stayed in waikiki for two weeks.Hawaii has beatiful ocean views and hot weather.We enjoyed our vacation there.

First,we went to the North Shore.We saw a beach and big waves in the beatiful ocean.the sea had clear water.
The next, i woke up early in the morning and took a bus to Diamond Head.We went to up a mountaina after ward.It was night time.There was a penthouse suite area and house was on the sea.I was impressed with the beauty of the ocean and the immunerable stars.

I rally enjoyed my vacation.I thought I would like to live in Hawaii someday because Hawaii had beautiful ocean views and nature.It was my favorite place.

My ex-boyfriend changed my life when i stayed in college.I met him when i wss 20 years old.My friend was introduced to me and then I spent time with him . At first I didnt love him and cant belive.However,he was a really kind person.

He has a postion in firm.He was really busy.he always said i want to leave my company then a year later he was more busy doing the arrangments foe a new a job and then he he left to his company and after he started a new one by his self.Now he got success and happy life

The first time that I saw her, I was fascinated by her perfect body and her big black eyes. I love her immediately. She was just like an ideal woman for me.

I met her in my high school, and I felt really interested in her. However I had a big problem, I had girlfriend and they were friends. I had to leave her and start a new relationship with the new girl. She was Juliana, the woman who changed my life.

At the beginning we had a perfect romance. She started to change my thinking and my mined. She was a big hearted person and had a really nice and beautiful smile. I was an unsociable person, bu6t she changed me to a better person. Now, I love socializing with all types of person, and I love the animals, helping people and enjoy littler things like Christmas, birthdays and other special dates.

My life changed 180 degrades. I feel now like a better person and I feel big peace in my heart. I’ll be grateful to her for help in changing to a better life

When I knew that I was pregnant, I couldn't believe it.

First of all, when I sow him for the first time I felt scared because I thought, "what am I going to do with him?". I didn't know anything about a baby. In fact, it was not easy to me at all the first 5 months, but at the same time he has been the person for whom I have felt inconditional love.

After that time, step by step I started to understand that my life really changed. He was depending on me. He needed me although it still is like that.

Today he has grown. He has his own small world. Indeed, he was the person who taught me to be a mother.

My sons are the people most important in my life and I am thankfull to my husband and God for this.

Hillary Clinton's life in Arkansas and her life in Washington differed in terms of housing. Whereas she had lived in a small house in Arkansas, in Washington she liced in the White House. THe house she and Bill had owned in Arkansas had been neither huge nor luxuriously appointed. In addition, foreign dignitaries hadn't visited it. In fact, it had been a house like that of any other person of moderate income. The White House, on the other hand was both large and imposing and it hand a rich history. In addition, it was visted vy tourists and dignitaries alike. In fact, it was more like a museum than a home.

3 years passed. In the interview room, she walked in with the black dress and her hair style was very long. When she moved all of her looked like a working woman and elegant.


When she saw me she said, "Hello" I saw the big smile on her face. All the things about at her made me know this is a beautiful world.I loved her style. She was Mrs.Katie,My boss who later changed my life.


The Communication Arts was my major when i was in the college. I don't know everything about fashion as well. I chose to work as a sales consultant at BMW (Thailand). That was my first job.


One day, my friend had told me about big fashions company that wanted new staff to join as the shop manager. I told my friend that I wanted to apply to this job but I didn't know anything about the company. anyway, I tried to send my resume to the Human Resources and after only few days passed,The company called to invite me for an interview.


I had an interview 3 times because it is a big fashions company in Thailand and many girls want to be a part of this company. I'm only one girl that she chose from 480 girls in Thailand. My memories started because she chose me by herself.


She was my lovely boss. She taught me everything about fashion with her soft voice. Eventhough she was the owner, she always treated me the same an one of her family. She spent time explaning everything to me. When I got sad about all the words, she would tell me, " Don't give up ".


I thought about everything that she told me. Eventhough i'm far from her to take my master's degree to show her in Thailand.I loved her forever and ever. She changed my life and I will walk step by step as her.

There are many famous or honorable people who changed their life. I think that their friends or parents or teachers made their life change. Also someone changed my life. The person was my father.

one years ago, I was in Korea. When I graduated from college, I was worried about my job and future. I got a job, but I didn't want to work in the company. My major was web design, but I didn't like my major so I felt uncomfortable working in the web design company. I quit and I thought my future. I was really confused while I was afraid.

After a few weeks, my father called me from New York and told that I had to come to N.Y. He wanted me to study more in N.Y. At that time, I didn't want to come to N.Y, but he persuaded me, and after that I came to N.Y.

In conclusion, I decided what I will do, but I have to study English first. I enjoy my life in N.Y and I am Happy, because I have a dream in my future. I know that I have to study hard so I try. I hope that I get what I want to be in my future and I thank my father because he gave me new chance.

Who changed my life- jueun

When i saw her the first time, she walked to me and said hello. She is pretty tall, like me. But she was so cute. I was just tall, nothing special, but she had really clear white skin, a smile, long black hair and higher long eye brows. She looked like white snow. Every person near her looked at her. It seemed that everyone wanted to talk to her. As a result, I could not say anything except "YES". It was a strange answer.

In my elementary school days, I was prudent. I had many girfriends but I did not know how to make men be friends. At that time, if someboy made eye contact with me, I bowed my head with shame right away.

In the sixth grade of the elementary school, i could meet her and become close to her. She had a lot of friends who were a group of boys, so she could help me, she made me close to them and taught me how to talk to them naturally.

I am still friend with them. After that, I could make more friends. I have never seen her since I got to New York. Butwe have been connected since we met the first time.

On the beautiful day of Febuary 14.2003,I got up early in the morning and went to work.I thought,"Today is Vatentine's Day, I want to call my mom and my friends for greeting on Valentine'day".Around 9 AM.I received a call,which told me,"Please go back home now,everyone is waiting for you".Then the caller hung up the phone.So I went home immediately.

When I arrived at home,my older sister told me my mother had been in an accident and she was admited to the emergency room in serious condition.At this time,I did believe it and thought it was impossible.After I visited her in the hospital,the doctor said my mother had died.My heart was broken.It seemed I was dreaming.I ased myself many times why my mother had died,she was a nice person,so kind and helped many people.Why did God punish me and so on?I got crazy.I isolated myself.

After my friends visit me,talked to me and they gave me a book about how to follow you thinking and reduce your suffering.I read this book again and again.Three months later,I felt better and accepted what was going on with my family and my life.I had learned something new from suffering and faced the thruth in my life.Eventhough I lost my mom,I can't see her anymore,but she always stays in my soul forever.She is a good mother and good friend of life.

Nowaday,When I miss my mom,I feel very happy.Moreover,I keep that book in my bedroom and read through it whenever I feel sad or lonely.Indeep,my mother had become a special person who changed my life.

At first, she was just a classmate in the middle school. At that time, I had no interest about her because she was a very mediocre girl to me. Not only was her face round, but also her eyes, nose and mouth were smaller than those of other girls in my class. Moreover, she was not a good student in all of the subjects. So how could I get an impression of her? She did not have to be my friend.

But one day, the situation was changed surprisingly. Entering high school, I joined a club which studied about the enviroment surrounding us. She both took part in that club as a member and had many kinds of activities with me. In addition, we were friendly. When I had a serious problem with other members of the club. I always was depressed to do whatever. For two years, I did my best to overcome that obstacle and she helped me a lot. She knew all of the process of problems that I fell into and she also knew how difficult a time I spent. But she also knew she could not solve the problem instead of me. It was caused by me and them, not her.

She tried to help me in some different ways. Not only did I always feel lonely, but I also did not want to be tight-knit with others I did not know well anymore. Furthermore, although the entrance exam for university came in the near future, I had to think of other things. For reforming me, she listened to my ragged grumbles well and gave an advice appropriately. Because she usually sympathized with my thoughts, I got energy.

In addition, she always smiled. When she smiled, her face looked very bright and it made me happy and positive. How attractive a person she was! I didn't understand why I had not recognized her value before.

Finally, I could overcome my obstacle and studied hard to enter the university. Because of her encouragement, I entered a good university and got a more positive attitude, which enabled me to be confident. Since that time she has been a best friend and supporter to me.

Teacher Who Changed My Life

When he walked into the toom, I looked at him with a scowl, because his trench coat was so big and he was a bornthin. That did not match with him.
Before I selected his class, my senior recommended it for my course, because the senior thought that my design style was like his design.
On my first day in his class, he ran counter to my expectation. He didn't take up a positive attitude and he didn't teach design, his homework was very interesting to me.
The second day I brought my homework and his advice was so wonderful, because his thinking was like mine, so we communicated everything. Before his class, I had worried about my major, because if I made a design, another teacher couldn't understand about the design so I had thought about changing the major, but he gave a word of praise to me. That gave happiness to me.

Finally i could move into my new apartment.I enjoyed my new house. i waked up early on the first day. when i was cleaning my kitchen,i heard a ring . who was it? when i open the door, i found a man who had strong arm smiling to me.He said :"welcome!i am a delivery-man for the fresh milk company,would you like to order milk every morning." i wanted to do it,because i could get my breakfast easier. He gave me a paper,i signed the paper,the business was fast.when he said good bye to me,i found he was lame. he had a strong body,tall with a very short hair,but his legs were not the same size.i lived the fifth floors without an elevator. i looked at him leaving,and thought what a life he had.

the life was simple but happy.every morning he sent the milk on time. when he rang at my door,i just got up.he was my alarm.after a few weeks,i knew his name---young lee,he hurt his leg by sickness. i was so sorry that he had to walk five floors every morning,he always smiled and said thanks .
The other day,when i was woken up by the storm,i thought i wanted to stay home to be absent from my meeting.i turned on my TY,enjoyed the morning program."ding dong" i heard the ring from my door,i was surprised that he could send milk on time today.
When i open the door,i found he wore a big coat,his face was all covered with water.he smiled to me.
"good morning ,sir ."it sounded very happy," i was lucky,could be here on time."
i took the milk from his hand quickly,then held his hand:" Please come in,you need to take a break."
he moved his body slightly.i found his feet were bare,the water dropped his feet from the bottom of his trouser legs. these were different size feet.,but they stood strongly on the floor.
he smiled with gratitude: " thank you,i had to deliver another bottle of milk"
I turned back, took a dry towel to give him,he moved his feet back and said," sorry, my face is dirty,do not worry,i am used to doing it."
I was excited," you work so hard."

The person who changed my life was my husband. He is an easygoing person. Not only is he a good person, but he is handsome.

I remember when I met him. I had been depressed because I felt lonely, since I broke up with my exboyfriend one year ago. I thought that I couldn't find another special person for me, but he came to change my life.

The first time that I saw him, I didin't want to kenw him because I was disappointed about love. However, he made my mind change. He was friendly, lovely, and he always was with me for the good times and bad times.

Now I believe in love. I think that people can't live without it. It doesn't matter if you have a dissappointment. You can always find another person who makes you fell good.

In my church, I saw her at first. I was fascinated by her atmosphere. In fact, she is much younger than I am. Her face was shining to me and her eyes were like a deep lake, as if I could fall in. They were so beautiful. and when she came into the place of worship, I was attracted to her as if I met my destiny.
I was a leader of small group of young men in the church. In the early part of year, I took one among the groups and I met new members. On the first day for the group, of course, on sunday, we got together in a room in the church and talked about the bible and some subjects of praying. At that time, I could see her. She was one of the members. In the past, I neither had known about her nor had seen her. Because she had been a high school student, she had been in a group for higf school students. After that, as soon as she went to the university, we could meet the same group.
Usually, I like to pray for other people. so, I asked my members the subject for praying. She spoke to me about her dream and some problems. I wanted to pray for her everytime and to share with her. I was happy to be with her and to have something to be able to do for her.
One day, I called her. Fortunately, she felt comportable with me and we could talk for a long time. The time when I had met her was third. But time was not important. We could understand each of us, and promise to share a lot of things that we had. Since calling her, I have gone so far with her. Actually, we couldn'tdo a lot of thing together because I would go to New York. she had known that. Howere, she wanted to be with me.
Now, she has become such big energy to me. I always think about her. I will live for her. She is my dream. My dream is to make her happy. Indeed I am changed by her existance.

A person who changed my life by Wan-Ling

He is tall and thin. he always plays basketball after school until night so he has lots of friends and many people like him. He has short black hair and small eyes that make him look like he is sleeping all day long.

We met in an astronomy club in our high school and it had a campus in winter that we joined. During the campus,I found him that he always had people around him. I was not good at socializing and it was difficult for me to talk with strangers. I wanted to make friends with him but I didn't know how to do so. I just stood there and listened to what they said. After a few minutes, he noticed me and tried to talk to me. I found he is a good guy. Not only does he think about others before doing things but also listens well when people speak. His name is Sam, my friend.

He taught me a lot. He told me to be open minded and no so shy. I tried to do as he said. After a semester, I had lots of friends,too. Now it is not too difficult for me to talk with strangers. I am very thankful to him.

The important things which I learned by Joy

In Korea, I had been a member of an advertising club which was named ONAD since 2005. ONAD is a very famous club. Many university students had joined it like me.

For 2 years, I took part in several public subscriptions of advertising with my friends in ONAD. Usually the teams were composited at 4 people and all of us had to do our best for making a good advertisement. I always could learn many things about charity during that period. I developed in terms of passion, controlling my emotion and teamwork.

When I participated in LGAD public subscription, that 1 month was a very hard time for me. I didn't know well about members of my team so the mood was not friendly at first. We also had no creative idea and it made us too nervous.

Time flowed faster than our thought. We had a lot of conversation about our school life, family, goals of the future and advertising we liked. We know each other more and more and it made us feel comfortable and think of good ideas.

During the last 1 week, I rarely slept because I had to take photos and write a great slogan. I was very tired but I did my best at it. Although I didn't achieve an award in that public subscription, I was happy.

It has remained a good experience to me until now.

My Planing

After summer class, I will plan to take a vacation to to the London city. I will go to there for 1 week. i will plan go to London because i want to try use my English language and i can know something new form this city, I will go together with my friend, We will take an airplane.

Some people think London is boring, for me i don't agree with them. I think London has many thing for learn, The London city is a beautiful city, It is interesting for me

My best trip

I needed some things when I was tired from my job. I got a lot of stress in 2004 because I had too many projects to do. These projects were very important so I couldn't release the tension. I dicided to go on vacation only for myself after the terrible projects.
I flew out to Hong Kong as soon as I finished my projects with my friend. Not only did we go shopping in departement stores and night market, but also ate many delicous chinese foods at restaurants. Moreover, we went to see a night view of Hong Kong.
Hong Kong was a very interesting city. We could buy a lot of stuff without tax and see exotic views. I felt Hong Kong was a really energetic city. There were many people,cares and buildings in the city. It was seriously complicated but I loved that.
I just stayed for 3 days. I wanted to stay longer but I couldn't. I was extremly happy after vacation because I enjoyed enough in Hon Kong. If I have a chance I would like to go there again.

Love Without Money.

It was in Colombia a few yars ago. I lived in Cali. Which is a city of Colombia. I have never gone to Europe or Africa. I only have gone to Colombia's cities, so I'm going to talk about my travel to Jumbo. Jumbo is an a hour from Cali, the City where I used to live. I took this trip by bus 'cause it isn't far from Cali and also I didn't have enough money.


we started to have problems to pay for the bus. My friends and I were talking about what we would do to get money,so one of them, Jair, thought "why dont each one of us try to bring some food from everyone's house". It was a great idea!!! However, we continued without money for bus tickets. Finally, we found a way to get money. Everyone brought something to sell and obioysly we sold it. My friends and I collected enough to go on our vacation.

Jumbo gave me a girl and fun. When I got there, people were similar in some aspects. For example; they had hands, legs and head...hahaha! It was only that people from Cali were similar to those from Jumbo because they were dressingf in very old clothes. They were like farmers, but they were very nice to us. we went out to a concert of punk music. I met a beautiful girl.I went out with her while I was taking my vacation. If hadn't met her, I would have been bored. She has been living by herself since she was 17 years old, so she offered her house for me to live in. However, she helped me to save money that I would spend on a hotel. My vacation was only for one week, and the girl that i met was for my whole life because she is still in my mind.

In conclusion, you don't need to have a lot money to get a vacation if you are in Colombia, but you have to get a lot of time because you will need it!!!

MY Travel Liling,Ding

Ten years ago ,I went to Beijing with my friend by airplane.We stayed there for two weeks.Beijing is the Capital of China,we live in the South,and Beijing is in the Nouth.
This was my important vacation. I learned a lot of history of China. Before I only knew from books,but that time I really looked at the Capital.
I felt very interested .I saw the Great Wall,which is famous in the word.It was made thousands of years ago.They made it with primitive tools.
I saw the King's tomb.It is very big.I had never seen that before.I knew a lot of history form it .I knew what the king wore,what the king used before and the king's story.It is very interesting.
I have never forgot our Chinese great history.I am pround of our history.

A travel experience by Wan-Ling

When I am tired of the city life, I will take a trip to relax. I usually take the trip in our country, like Kenting or other countryside because it doesn't cost much money and require heavy baggage. I just take my small backpack and a Taiwan map to go everywhere I want in Taiwan.

I took a trip to Kenting with my classmates four weeks ago. The trip was very important for us because after the trip, we graduated from our school and we wouldn't ever be able to get together again. During the trip. We visited the Kenting National Park, enjoyed the hot spring, played ball at the beach and so on. When the sky became dark, we rode the motorcycles to Kenting Main Street. Kenting Main Street has lots of vendors at night. We ate our dinner and bought some gifts there. If weather permited, we got up early and saw the sun rise. Seeing the sun rise made me feel that the future was hopeful.

I love to take a trip because I can experience something special. I hope in the future when I have free time. I can take my bag on a trip again.

My vacation in Mexico

On jun 2006, my friend Carla, my son an I went to Cancun, Mexico. I really wanted to know Cancun, because so many friends and some family told me how wonderful Cancun was.

When we arrived in Mexico, we had to take a small truck, is was funny, because we expected a bus would bring us at our hotel.

That day was shine and warm, so after we took the room in the hotel, we immediately went to the beach , but the beach in the front of the hotel wasn't nice, it was dirty an I told my son "please don't go swimming". He was sad and so was I, because I thought that Cancun was dirty.

Fortunately, a person told us "going to Islas Mujeres", so we went; going there was the best decision that we made.

My son enjoyed the beach and the small trip that was necessary to take to arrive there. We took a lot of pictures.

We didn't want to came back home. In fact, I want to going back to Cancun an spend more time in that place whit my husband and sons.

Cancun is a beautiful place to visit once and again and again.

Great Trip in My Life by Rata

Every year not only do many people go traveling inside their country, but the also travel around the world. One of them is me, who loves to travel for exploring and gathering my experiences. Last year, I had a wonderful trip to California, Las Vegas, which included my meeting a best friend there.

California is one of the most popular states of the United States. Somebody said California is a paradise because of the four biggest cities, Los Angelis, San Diego, San Jose, and San Francisco. At that time, I visited Los Angelis; downtown, Chinatown, Disneyland, and Universal Studios. Moreover, I visited San Francisco and Las Vegas. I was excited by beautiful scenery and lovely places while I was there. I am very happy about my great experiences.

When I arrival to California by plan, my friend who hadn’t met for more than 10 years, took care of me I appreciate it very much. I know about her more and feel happy because of her personality; she is a nature lovers; she is talkative, fun and so on. I think I got a best friend from this trip.

Some people love to travel. They spend a lot of money and time for searching something new and it is meaningful for their lives. Great trip in my life was in California and Las Vegas. Not only did I go sightseeing in the colorful cities and beautiful countryside, but I also have a best friend who is a miracle in my life.

A Trip with A Young Girl

It was from February,14,2003 through March,12,2003 that my friend and I traveled in Thailand. We had chosen Thailand for our trip because korea had been so cold and we had wanted a warm country to travel.
We traveled in many areas in Thailand. I have an unforgettable impression in my mind in an area, but I don't remember the name because we went there and we had not had a plan. When we arrived there, we didn't have information about there. At first, we found a hotel, but we couldn't find the location, so we walked a very long time, and then, we saw a bicycle rental and we borrowed a bicycle and I rode with her.
While we were riding the bicycle, we saw many dogs on the road and we said,"Bow Wow,"after which many dogs followed us. We were very surprised and I rode very fast. The dogs followed us a lomg distance. When the dogs didn't follow us, we stopped on the road. We were so tired and thirsty. We went to a supermarket and asked about a hotel, but a worker didn't speak English. At that time, we heard english from a young girl and we were suprised. She was so young!! We spoke with her and we played with her. When we said,"Bye" to her, she asked us, "Do you want to sleep in my room?" We were so lucky!! We went to her house and she introduced her family to us. They were kind and they gave us information about the area.
The next day, she guided us in the area and she explained about it. During this time, we were going past a market and she looked at a rabbit a long time, so I bought the rabbit and I gave it to her for a present of thanks. She was delighted and I was also delighted. When we came to her room, we made the rabbit's house and we gave it the name "Touki", because Touki means "rabbit" in Korean.
When I came to my house, I developed the film and I sent her the photos, but she didn't answer to the photos. Maybe, she couldn't answer, because she was so young and her English was not good, so there was no need for apprehension about no answer.
She was so young, but her kindness was like that of an adult and she gave me happy memories. I want to travel without a plan like this travel.

Like the Sun

I can see more when I walk in nature . In normal life, I like to see the Sun. That is shining brightly in the sky. Always, it gives us energy for our lives. so I think, I should live like the Sun. The Sun won't change and won't be changed, if God doesn't want. Because I know that, I can see more from the Sun.
Usually, we are meeting with many people, even now! Those who we are meeting are our friends or family or neibors or just known bodies. However, many people used to treat each of them in a little bit different way. Strictly speaking, we want to meet people that can give us help and so do I! yes, most of us are changed by the enviroment of those who we are meeting now.
It's not good! We know that it involves a big problem. So I think we should treat every people the same way. Either good men or bad men, we should think like same people. We shouldn't have prejudice about them.
Look at the Sun! It shines to us. It doesn't distinguish between each of us. So, we can feel comportable in front of the Sun.
From time to time, we, humens need to look around ourselves. There, many other people who suffer fromm something bad that came from Enviroment or Society are. And as far as I know, they become lonely because of lack of concentration from us.
In all of the world, many people who we even don't know are dying now. but, they can't give us something that we want. Strictly speaking, we don't have to look after those who suffer from something, for example, war, scarcity of foods and diseases.
How do you think about them? should we live as if we didn't know them in the coners of their life? The answering is NO! We should help all of them. It is the way that we can live like the Sun.
The Sun always gives us light and energy, equally. what I learn from seeing the Sun is simpathy and mercy. so, I want to be a volunteer who can help those who need help. All people are equal and we are living together on the Earth. When we see and meet some one or a group somewhere. We should treat them or each one as the same human. It is very important.

A short trip

This was not an interesting trip, but i will never forget it.
I have been in NYC 2 years,i did not have enough time to travel,but a short trip gave me a good memory in march of last year.
it was a rainy day. i had just quit my job.i did not know how i could do the next step. i took a train with no goal,just wanted to spend my boring time.i did not know why i wanted to get off at 34th st Penn station,i did not even know why i could walk to the empire state building.
This is a grand building, i found some people were on the line in the hall.the weather was not very nice,only a few people were there,they were talking with excitement.i followed them,bought a ticket,and took an elevator.i could not remember hoe many floors it has,i just wanted to look to forgot the stress from the life.when i arrived at the top of building,i found there was just a gift store.I did not care about the gifts. I went out,i wanted to watch the city from the high building.you know, what happened? i could not see anything. it was cloudy,the heavy fog in the sky. my mood was heavy too. i walked around the balcony,the cool rain made a sense to me. i depended on the fence and looked down at the city,though there was nothing except the cloud.i felt a quiet that i never had before.i thought maybe my life looked like the view, under the heavy cloud there was a wonderful city.who knew what would happen after today? I smiled to myself.
When i finished my short trip,i took a picture with the building.i have put the picture on my desk now,and when i look at him who wore a big coat,with a silly smile, I always laugh out loud.

My first trip in NY by Joy

Last Wednesday, Independence day, I went on a picnic to Bear mountain and 7 lakes with my relatives. I had looked forward to that day because my aunt usually had said, "It is a very beautiful place and someday you have to go there." I really had wanted to go.

We started at 9:30 a.m preparing sandwiches and kimbabs which were made from seaweed, rice, tuna, eggs, cheese and so on. From the window of a car, I could saw many tall trees in a forest and also overlooked the town. It made me feel peaceful and have fun. The road curved around a mountain and I found a carcass of a deer while riding in the car. On the roads of Korea, this situation was not common so I realized that I was in New York.

When arriving at the peak of Bear mountain, I took a lot of pictures as proof that I made it. There were many motorcycle riders. They seemed th be taking a tour. I wanted to take a picture with them and tried that because I like motorcycles like Harley Davidson and Honda. Then we moved to one lake(I forgot the name) of 7 lakes. I'd never seen such a large lake! I enjoyed taking a boat and I especially liked to pose in many different position on it because it was a thrill.

In the late afternoon, I ate a baby rib in a famous restaurant in Rockland. As I sometimes had had that food with my friend in my country, I gave myself up to deep emotion. In addition, it tasted very good.

After lunch, my aunt recommended going to a bread factory near there. According to her saying, not only did they sell many kinds of bread, but also those were cheap. Actually, they were. That was the last course of my trip.
I really had a blast for 1 day. I was with my relatives and went to many nice place I'd never been. I am sure that the memory of my first trip in New York will remain for a long time!

learning Somthing Important

Six year ago, when I started my mayor (Dentistry), I didn’t Know anything about health and human care. I went to the University of Valle in Cali, Colombia. Every day was a new and good experience for me. I worked with all kind of people, different kind of medical doctors and special patients, some whom were polite, other not so much, but I always learned something new from all of them.
I learned not only human care, but I also learned a lot of things, like personal relationships, relationships with all kind of people, old, young and sick. I’m grateful for it because now I know how to do things in a good way.
When you spend a lot of time with intelligent, polite and big hearted people, you can learn all kind of things that you need in your personal and professional life. The elderly people are always an example for you, like a mirror. Actually, you can copy the good things from the other people. In fact I always try to remember just the good things from the all people.

My beloved Atlantic by Lady

In the many places of my whole life. I have been to travel in many countries. I love to go to the beach and some places that make me enjoy myself and feel happy.
The one place to make me get happiness is Atlantic City. I went there with my close friend. the way to choose this place was that we want to know about how to play in the casino,even thought we went there only one day.Moreover, we had to go shopping at many outlets and I also got a lot of stuff.
I chose to go to The Atlantic City by bus it the easy way to go there. It took only two hours after the bus departure from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. I got many experience after I came back from my vacation.
Finally, I loved to go to Atlantic City. If I had more time I would go to visit there soon. I got a lot of happiness there and if you like to a place with casino, I think Atlantic City can be your choice. I hope you will get happiness there.

KukHwaLee: a travel experience

Everybody goes on trips and they have many memorize about the good things or bad things of the trips. I went to many places a lot of times, but I remember only one. It was on February 4th, 2007.

In the morning, I met my friend, Woori, on Feb 2th. We talked about traveling, because we needed something new. We wanted to leave our country for a few days. We researched many countries and found a nice place. It was Thailand, but We had to leave after 2days. We didn't have time so we were in a hurry. We felt so excited and expected a lot from the travel.

After 2days, We went to Thailand. When we arrived in Thailand, We were so tired because we couldn't sleep the night before. We looked around and we tried Thai food.
We had a lot of fun. We stayed 5 days in Thailand. We didn't want to come back to Korea but we had to comeback. We took almost 500 pictures. Maybe we wanted to bring
Thailand by camera. I felt so great and missed it.

In conclusion, When I feel bored, I took at the pictures. They make me smile and I feel that I'm in Thailand. If I get a chance to go to Thailand again, I will so happy. I hope for it.

" Vacations "

We were on vacation in Venezuela five years ago.
We decided go there because we hear about some
Islands called Margarita's Islands.

It was an unforgettable experience, the location
of the Island is between two oceans, the Pacific
on one side and the Atlantic on the otther side.

I was over there with my wife and we spent so ma-
ny wonderful moments. We also got a lot of oportu-
nites to practice some aquatic sports, like sailing,
swimming underwater, skiboarding, fishing, etc,
during the day.

At night the staff of the hotel gave us some advi-
ce about entertainment during the night.
After that advice that we received, my wife and I
started to enjoy shows, nightclubs and drinks.

Finally, when our vacation finished, we felt sad,
because ten days wasn't enough for us, but we aren't
going to ever forget the charm of the Islands.

My romantic Trip by Guisela Pinzon

I had a beautiful vacation last year in Prague Czech Republic, with my husband since it was our honeymoon. We left from Paris in the late afternoon, and arrived at night.

We went to Prague in winter. It was so cold. It was the first time that we were below 0 degre celsius. When we arrived at the hotel the people gave us Absinthe. It was a strong drink from Prague, perfect for this temperature. The hotel was so great with its middle ages arquitecture. The room was so fantastic that we couldn't believe it. Everithing was different for me but we were so exaited.

The next days we visited many historical places. We went to visit the city. It had fantastic castles, small coffee houses, and a variety of restaurants. We visited Charles Bridge, which I think is one of the most beautiful of the world. I remember that we visited the opera, gold alley, and also saw Don Geovanni with puppets. The trip was very good and so romantic.

We returned to Paris. We were happy and glad to have visited Prague. I had never been more of a lover than in those time.
