Good morning to all! My classmate is Juan. She is a tough woman like me, also a very speak out person. It is my first semester in this school. Also is the first time that i take English class, so it wasn't easy for me. I think i improved my writing skills. She said that she has been in NY for approximately three years, and is her therth semester here. Juan thinks, she improved in all topics but i think, she speak better than before.

My name is Kinga. I am student in the level 4.2 at the English Language Center with my partner Charlie. I have been studying here since Winter 2010. It is my first class in USA and everything is for me new(people, teachers, education in English). I think it is very good experience. I think it is a good school for people who want learn very fast English and have plan go to colleges. But you have to work hard because classes aren't enough to learn.
i went to the language clinic that helped my conversation ability because the class was only conversation nothing anymore like writing or reading. i can concentrate only on goal i like that.
i am in the level 4 class (exactly 4.2), kinga is here. after i finished the class, it will be my 2nd class's end. i have studied a lot of English in this class, writhing was quite difficult though. The first class was afternoon class so i did not have any people who i knew. i could meet some people who was in same situation as me, i would be friend with that people quickly. yes friends.
the thing that impressed me was counselor who in room-354. i had known that i had to take the test called TOEFL but she(the counselor) told me i did not need to take that test so i am just preparing the documents about my high school.
and than i also visited language clinic that was good i think, i could learn about conversation method and of course, i did a lot of talking. this made me also improve
i think the college have given us some newspaper(newyorktimes) twice a week(guessing). i like that but after, during the vacation i cannot receive them that is sad.
finally i hope that we will meet the next class also as same class classmate.

I think that it is very hard to go a week without internet because now everybody wants to explore all about the internet .It Isn't easy for this family because it is necesary to use the internet and more for the guy that is talent computer program and he needs to spend a lot of time in it.
that was interesting because i'm a korean, and i will also freak out without internet one week, sure it is. that was why I couldn't spend my laptop to fix them although that had some problem at the graphic card. However I think, many New Yorker also think the internet is one of vital things in life. Here has a lot of market which they have a internet online shop and deliver for their customers.
I can’t imaginable web-lees life because I have always used internet. If I can’t use internet, I will feel uncomfortable. I think don’t use internet impossible in Korea because everybody use internet and all works use internet. But I think don’t use internet good for children because all most children spend time to use internet or play online games. They need to control to spend time for using internet.

One day, BBC visited Kim's family accidentally and aked them be a volunteer for living without wired about seven days. Kim's familly agreed with them and lived without wired. Kim's son who is sixteen years old and heavy internet user for more than six hours a day because he is a computer programmer. Kim's family psycologically reacted, so they felt nervious and isolated. They can't imagine without wired because it's very inconvient for shopping, banking and so on. A neighberhood Yang's family also be a volunteer. Anyway, after without wired Kim's family can spend time more with each other. Kim's son read a book and play piano instead internet.
