About Message B Katrina Story Corps, esl - Kyungsun Bark

Hi. I'm going to talk about 1st story. Aunt and her niece are talking about relocating to Houston after Hurricane Katrina. Niece asked her aunt what is the hardest day and decision in their life. Aunt lost her mother and her aunt in New Orleans because of the Hurricane. They suffer painful that took everything in their life. And then they moved to Houston. Aunt is really missing so much about New Orleans. Such as her daddy's pinky yellow roses and house. Aunt is hoping will be able to back to New Orleans. After Hurricane, aunt has learned about love, family, and faith are most important things in the whole world. And she use to say it but now she experienced. So those things make her niece growth. Aunt is proud of her niece. Also this story remind me love, family, and faith. That's very good story for me. Thank you, Kevin.

Restaurant owner and New York City Councilwoman

You heard two stories. One was about Magaret Chin, the N.Y. City Councilwoman,
and the other was about Mr. Ma, the restaurant owner. Write about one here.
What does Margaret Chin do? What did Mr. Ma do?

Katrina-Hyelim

I heard some stories about people who experienced the hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
The first woman Antoinette Franklin said the hardest thing was live in New Orlean continuation,
because they have many memories with her life. Se moved to houston.
The mentioning is awfully sad.
