About "Ghetto life 101"
That story shows a crude reality. Not only can it happen in "undeveloped countries", it also occurs in "developed countries" like USA. It's a sad story, because since they are very young have to live many difficult experiences. Most of the times the poverty can be easily mixed with drugs, alcohol and a lot of children what means more needs, problems and delinquency. The people always try to put the social problems in a reduce space (like in Ghetto life), so they didn't realize, the problem is still there and is continually more big.

I like your comment. You raise good questions. Why do people live in third world conditions in a developed country? And why are those conditions ignored?
I often can find beggers on streets while many people are shopping in 5th Ave. in Manhattan. That is the very what I was surprised at the first time in USA.
