ABOUT ESOL
The ESOL PROGRAM in this school has many students of DIFFERENT countries, for example Peru, Guatemala, Honduras, Pakistan, etc. They live in THE suburbs OF Virginia. Ginnete Cain, ESOL Director OF Cecil D. Hylton High School, said that IT IS really important FOR the studentS TO receive the degreeS.
Amanda Raimundo, ESOL, student, THINKS THIS program is very difficult because the LANGUAGE is not easy. THIS HAS advantages because she knowS other people and disadvantages because only seven classes ARE only English and the other classES ARE separate FROM American students.
She wants TO finish here AND return TO her country because the dream is TO study TO BE A doctor. She workS here with her mother cleanING house.
