At 38 years old Alfredo Quinonez Hinojosa is a neurosurgeon and professor at Johns Hopkins University, and at present he is researching about a breakthrough in the treatment of brain cancer.

But 20 years ago his history was different. He was a farm worker in Mexico, and he used to live with his parents. He grew up in Mexicali, at the border of The United States.

In 1970 when the economy in his country came down, he decided to cross the border and come to the U.S.A. with only his dreams. In the U.S.A. he also was working on a farm collecting tomatoes, cotton and cantaloupes  for the beginning but something inside was pushing him to do something else, also his cousin told him once about what he could expect about his future, she told him. you want to be a farmer for the rest of your life?. and he remember that conversation always.
So decided to star with English classes and his teacher recommended to Alfredo to go to University of California. by the time Alfredo Quinones filling some passion for Scientific Medicine, later he went to Harvard Medical School and now he is a prestigious Neurosurgeon and also he is a professor at Johns Hopking University.
