Alfredo was born in Mexico.when He was 5 years old he started work with his father in a small gas station.
he lived at 60 miles south of the U.S border.
When he was 18 years old he became a teacher. and the same year the economy of Mexico collapsed.
And then he made a hard decision to came to U.S.A.  his first job was a farmworker, he worked hard picking tomatoes , cotton, cantalupes, with his first pay check he bought a small camper for $300.
Then his cousin told him he would be a farmworker for the rest of his life.
Alfredo thought is time to move on.  he stared with English classes. then his teacher  encouraged him to attend to the University of California. Alfredo went to Harvard Medical School . he stared given speech and the same time he received his U.S citizenship.
Now He is neurosurgeon and professor at Johns Hopkins University. actually he is looking medication for the brain cancer.......!!!!
