A difference between New York and Bangkok

I came from Bangkok, which is the capital city of Thailand, to study English. There are many differences between New York and Bangkok, so I have to adapt the way of living and my opinion was changed by circumstances of New York, such as weather, culture, people, food, transportation and pollution.
The weather of Thailand is hotter and more humid than New York, There isn't snow in Thailand because it's located in a tropical area. I've just seen snow for the first time in my life.
In Thailand, younger people have to repest older people but the people in USA respect those who have more ability. Thai food is very spicy and has a lot of herbs. I don't know what the real american food is. I prefer Thai food and in my opinion Thai food is the best.
The New York sub way and bus networks are extensive, especially in Manhattan. It's also the quickest way to get around. On the other hand in Bangkok there is really a lot of traffic and less public transportation. I'd rather travel in New York than in Bangkok.
In conclusion, I love New York because it isn't only the largest city in the world but it's also the most convenient city. However, I really miss my country each time I breath. It's my home town.
