telc students and teacher

Claudia Vargas

Colombia is a nice country, people are beautiful and friendly, but the problems economics and political are terrible, there is one of them.

Now it is very difficult for you to find a job there it’s really hard because if you want to work for any company you have to study at the university. For example, if you want to work as a cashier in a bank you must complete course of study on any career.

However, when you finish your university study, getting a job is difficult because you don’t have experince. The principal reason is that you aren’t old enough, or you are at too advanced an age for work.

Now it’s hard to get a job, but it’s harder still to maintain one because no body, no companies, etc. want you to work for long time. If you do, it means that they have to pay you when you are at the age of your retirement.

In Colombia it’s different the retirement age, for woman is 65 years, and for man is 70 years, so this is a contradiction because you have to be the old enough for get the pension, but companies don’t leave you work until this age, so in Colombia you have to move influences if you want to get your pension before at the age, or get a good pension (money).

I think that all things like this happen as a result of corruption where the government need an excuse for support their bad decision, or an excuse for support money that they spend in unnecessary things for their selves.

Claudia,

Corruption is hard to fight against, because sometimes legal remedies don't work. The legal system itself may be corrupt, for example.

In Colombia, how can people fight corruption?
