Writing and correction

You should look at the "NEW VERSION" of your writing (below on the blog).

Some of your writing was lost, not published or saved, but you should look at the corrections of your writing (if it was saved) and the writing of your classmates. Learn from errors.

Pay attention to "mechanics." Most of your grammar is correct. There are small problems in the following areas which you should pay attention to:

Punctuation: end every sentence with a period. (a period is a full stop: (.)

Don't use commas at the end of sentences. (a comma is not a full stop (,)

Use capital letters to start every sentence and for names, but not for pronouns ("he, she, it, they, we and you" do not have capital letters, but of course "I" does).

If you use "Mr." or "Mrs." or "Miss" or "Ms." the name that follows must include the family name.

Correct: Mr. Alfredo Hinojosa

Correct: Mr. Hinojosa

Incorrect: Mr. Afredo

When you read the NEW VERSION, carefully compare it to the original. Pay attention to suffixes (ed, ing, s and es) and prepositions (in, on, as, for, with etc.) and articles (a, the, an or no article).

Writing and speaking are different. When you speak, you can make errors and sometimes people do not  hear them, but when you write every error is clearly visible. For that reason, writing is good practice for improving your speaking.

Keep up the good work, perseverance.
