Lisa and Jose

                        
                    Alfredo was born in a small town in Mexico sixty miles south of the U.S. border. By age 5, he was working at his father's gas station. His grandmother was a village healer and a midwife. In the mid-1970s, Mexico's economy collapsed, and his father couldn't handle to take care of the family anymore like before. However Alfredo continued his school and he became a teacher at age 18, but he couldn't enough to provide for his family. So, he decided to move up US.
