"The Group" by Em-on Leela-amornrat

         There are  five people in our group. Three are men and two are women. The maximum age is 49, the minimum age is 16 and the average age is 35. Our group have the following occupations : waiter, babysister, accountant, Dry Cleaner and student. We are all student now.

         We come from a total of 4 countries and represent 2 continents, America and Asia. 3 languages are spoken by our group : Spanish, Thai and Nepali.

         The largest hometown represented in our group is Mexico, with a population of 90 million. The smallest hometown is Thailand, with a population of 60 million.

         Our marital status is varied. Two persons are married. Three person are single.
      
         Three of us live with family, one lives alone and another has a room-mate.

         The person in my group who has been in New York. The longest is SANTIAGO, who came here 16 years ago. By contrast, Em-on has been here just one month. She has been in New York  the shortest of anyone in our group, and we welcome her. The average length of time in New York is about seven years.

         We are happy and excited in this group to keep learning from each other.

You have written a lot of information about your group in clear and accurate English. There are almost no errors. 


"Our group have" should be "our group has." Although "group" means  more than one person, the noun "group" is singular.


"Babysitter" is correct.  "Babysister" also sounds good,  but it is incorrect.

"Three person are married" should be "three persons" or "three people" ("persons" is correct but rarely used).

You should not use all capital letters for the name "SANTIAGO" even though he is great.

You wrote an effective conclusion.  Spelling is all correct, and English spelling is very difficult for everyone. All in all, it's an excellent response to the assignment.
