about Ban Ki Moon
I am now trying to talk about Ban Ki Moon, Secretary General of the United Nations because Ban Ki Moon is a modal to Korea people and most people want to know his successful life and his nice character, so i choose about Ban Ki Moon.
Ban Ki Moon became the eight Secretary General of the United Nations in 2007. Before then, he was a diplomat in South Korea. Ban Ki Moon was born in South Korea in 1944. His destiny was to become the diplomat.
When Ban Ki Moon was in high school, he was selected as one of four members of VISTA program of the International Red-Cross, he dreamed about being the diplomat. He got a chance on an American trip, and he met John F.Kennedy in the White House, so he told him that his ambition was to be the diplomat.
Ban Ki Moon studied International Relation and got a Master's degree from Harvard University. He speaks English, French, German and Janpenes.
In 2001, he began to work at the United Nations as the chief of staff to Han Seung-Soo, the present of the General Assembly. Ban Ki Moon returned to Korea and he was Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trad from 2004 to 2006.
He is well-know for his ceasless promotion. His seniors were also following him, but his character was made about him nobody. At UN, there are phrase called, "Do half Ban". In this phrase, Ban means Ban Ki Moon. These day, American news are criticizing him. In fact, when Ban Ki Moon meets great government officer, he acts very quiet,

Yes, I've noticed that Mr. Moon is very soft-spoken. He works quietly to achieve his goals. I admire people who don't speak loudly.
On the other hand, sometimes loudness is necessary. But Mr. Moon is in a powerful job and therfore doesn't need a loud voice.
