Greetings! Here is your new teacher!

Dear Students,

It is my pleasure to introduce you to Kevin Lathrop, your teacher. Kevin has been teaching at Laguardia for a long time. He likes the school. In his opinion, Laguardia is an oasis. New York is a city of grey buildings. There is not much green here, except in Central Park, but at Laguardia Community College human nature is thriving.

Kevin was born in Connecticut but has lived in New York since he was an infant. He studied Teaching English as a Second Language at Columbia University, where he earned a master's degree. Before that, he earned a bachelor's degree in cinema at Bard College, a small college that specializes in art. Kevin enjoys writing fiction in his spare time.

Kevin looks forward to working with all of you closely and wants you to learn a lot quickly and enjoyably.
