about Jian Bin's post

Jian Bin,

Your post has few errors ("few" means "not many" but "a few" means "some").  Your understanding of the grammar is accurate. The errors are minor.  I've made corrections under your sentences.

How long did you meet your parents last?
 It lasted 5 hour.

How long did your meeting with your parents last? ("meeting" is a noun).

It lasted 5 hours.

How long dis you take a shower yesterday?
 It took 20 minutes.

How long did it take you to take a shower yesterday?

The answer is correct.

"Take" has two different meanings here. "I took a shower" is different from "The shower took 20 minutes).

How long did you play basketball last?
 It played 2 hour.

Remember: How long does/did + NOUN+  last.

"You play basketball" is not a NOUN.

Change it to "your basketball game."

How long did your basketball game last?

It lasted 2 hours.

How long does you eat breakfast?
 It eats 15 minute.

How long does it take you to + VERB (eat breakfast)?

It takes 15 minutes.

How long did it take you to get form China to U.S.?
 It took 1 month.

Question and answer are correct, but there are two minor errors. The correct form is  "the U.S."  and "from China."

How long did you get party last?

 It lasted 2 weeks ago.

This is different. The correct QUESTION WORD is  "When."

When was your last party?

It was 2 weeks ago.

In your sentence, "last party" means "most recent party."

You could ask, "How long did your last party last" (meaning "How long did your most recent party last?"),  and answer, "It lasted 4 hours (for example).
