-The nomination was unexpected by her.
-The reason is that she wanted to present herself as a serious musician.
-She really likes music.
-The future looks promising (full of hope) for her. She has the attention of the classical world and a Grammy nomination.
-I think if she hadn't tried to play the piano though it's hard she wouldn't be a famous pianist.
(past unreal conditional= had + past participle)
