DIANA VILLACRES AND AMANDINE GAUDEFROY

Alfredo is a thirty eight years old neurosurgeon and professor at Johns Hopkinks University. He works for find a treatment of brain cancer.

He arrived in the United States twenty years ago, and his first job was a migrant farmworker. But when he had five years old, he worked with his father, in his gas station.


Alfredo grew up in a small town closed to Mexico. His family was very poor and really affected with the Mexico's economy collapsed.
At eighteen, he was for his first time a teacher and he continued to work as a farmworker, for had money and helped his family.

Alfredo started a English class at a commumity college, where one of his teacher encouraged him to attend the University of California, Berkeley.
