Geovanna Morales

Oswaldo Guayasamin, was born in Quito, the capital of Ecuador, on July 6, 1919. He was very kind and generous. He studied in School of Fine Art in Quito. He was a painter and sculptor. His work has been shown in museums in all capitals of America and in many countries in Europe. He died on March 10, 99, when he was 79 years old. His paintings reflect the pain and misery such as world wars, civil wars, genocide, concentration camps, dictatorships, and tortures.

Thank you for the introduction. I didn't know the work of Oswaldo Guayasamin. His paintings look powerful. Visual language can create dialogue that is difficult or impossible with words. Art promotes peace.
