Alfredo Quinones' successful life (Ashley, Ji)

The article was written in 2007. A hero in this is Alfredo Quinones . He was born in Mexico, but he moved to the United States in 1987. At first, he worked as a migrant farm worker by a taking effect of his families. Now, he is working as a neurosurgeon, professor and researcher at Johns Hopkins University. He is looking for a breakthrough in the treatment of brain cancer.
Even though he was born small farm town, he is researching about developing science.

Yes, Alfredo is a kind of hero, but he is only a more conspicuous hero among many thousands, indeed millions, of less conspicuous heroes. I think it is possible to achieve success in small ways, for example, by taking care of a child or parents or by getting on a subway and coming to study English every day. I think the students at LaGuardia can be heroic.

In the story of Alfredo, he is very succesful, he was a former illegal inmigrant, now he is profesor, neurosurgen and researcher. Do you think to follow his example? Which are your objetives in this country?

first of all thank you for making a comment. I agree with your opinion.
I believe whoever can be a hero in the world. If someone try to do something hard, one will be not only satisfied on one's work but also won public recognition.
