Simple present- s form

Every morning Kevin reads the newspaper. He drinks a cup of coffee. He listens to the radio.

Simple past- past form

Two days ago Kevin went to the dentist. He visited an old friend. He saw a new movie.

Present Perfect- has + past participle

Since he came to New York , Kevin has taught English. He has made some friends. He has learned a lot.

Future- is going to + base form

Two days from now Kevin is going to go to Connecticut . He is going to drive for two hours. He is going to walk in the countryside.

Past Perfect- had + past participle

Before he came to New York , Kevin had studied French for six years. He had finished high school. He had made plans for college.

Future unreal conditional- would + base form

If he were president of his country, Kevin would speak with leaders of other countries. He would work to stop global warming. He would promote a fair economy.
