Romantic Love Lasts Only a year

      Based on studies and research, romantic love lasts only a year. Italian scientists discovered that NGF (Nerve Growth Factor,  the chemical in the brain which makes us romantic, fades over a year. The chemical increases when a person first falls in love, but after people become more secure in a relationship this chemical decreases.

This research analyzed 58 volunteers who were in love and compared them with people who were single or in a steady relationship.
