Nice to meet you, Sam. In class, you mentioned that you are from Puebla, but you didn't talk about your hobbies, playing the flute and watching Japanese anime and playing soccer. If you like katanas, you should go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art on 83rd street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan. They have an impressive collection of Japanese swords- and another good thing is that visitors to the museum can pay whatever they want (the sign says fifteen dollars or something, but in very small print it says "voluntary contribution).
You wrote that you like shields. I don't really understand what you mean by shields?
