Differences between New York and Kumamoto ( Japnan)

Akiko Uchino
I sometimes feel cozy here because I don’t have to think about or take care of other people too much. Unlike in Kumamoto, in New York the majority of people not only live a fast-paced life, but they also don’t waste any time. Moreover, they like to take advantage as much as they can. Consequently, their manners often seem to be cold toward other people. Generally speaking, New Yorkers do their own thing as a top priority and people from Kumamoto consider what other people do as well.

It's interesting that you find it comfortable here, despite the size of the city relative to that of Kumamoto. In all experiences, there is something gained and something lost. People advise us to focus on the positive. You do that.
